Barrie Krumholz
Barrie J. Krumholz, P.A. is an accomplished family law practitioner with extensive experience in representing clients in various aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, and asset distribution. Since July 2016, Barrie has operated as a sole practitioner, providing dedicated guidance to clients through every stage of their legal proceedings. Her comprehensive approach includes drafting and reviewing pleadings, conducting legal research, and actively participating in mediation and litigation, successfully managing hundreds of court hearings.
Prior to establishing her practice, Barrie served as an Associate at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP from March 2015 to April 2016, where she represented major financial institutions in complex litigation throughout Florida’s state courts. Her responsibilities included drafting briefs, managing foreclosure cases, and addressing various consumer financial services issues, all while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Earlier in her career, Barrie worked as a Litigation Trial Attorney at Aldridge Connors, LLP from October 2013 to March 2015, representing secured creditors and financial institutions in commercial litigation and mortgage foreclosure matters. She oversaw trial processes, drafted supporting documents, and monitored legal developments that impacted her clients.
Barrie’s foundational experience began as a Litigation Associate at the Law Offices of Marshall C. Watson, where she managed a significant volume of foreclosure cases and gained familiarity with Florida’s court procedures.
Barrie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was actively involved as the Publicity Director for Miami Law Women. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, with minors in Psychology and Sociology. Barrie is admitted to The Florida Bar and the Southern District of Florida.
