Miriam Sumpter Richard
Attorney Sumpter Richard grew up in a strict single-parent home after her father passed when she was three, and her mother raised her. She had two choices growing up, and that was either to be a Doctor or a Lawyer. During college, her communication skills made it clear she was a born lawyer. That dream came into fruition in 1987, when she joined the Florida Bar.
Attorney Sumpter- Richard obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. Attorney Sumpter Richard received her law degree, a Juris Doctorate, from Southern Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Attorney Sumpter Richard is also a Veteran. She was Honorable Discharged from the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the United States Air Force.
After the air force, she ran her own law firm, which specialized in Real Estate Law, Foreclosure Defense, Bankruptcy Law, Estate and Probate Law, and Family Law.
However, something was lacking; she loved litigating and therefore jumped at the opportunity to do nothing but litigate in Federal and State courts.
Attorney Sumpter-Richard brings a highly motivated, competent, winning skill set to E.F. Robinson Law Firm. She loves Family law, winning, and she loves being in a courtroom. She is masterful at communicating and an excellent orator.
